The Public Service Commission (PSC) barred examinees from wearing watches during the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations. A statement by the PSC on Sunday said that clocks would be arranged at examinations halls for all to check time.

The 36th BCS preliminary test is scheduled for Friday (January 8). The aspirants will take the tests at 107 centres across Bangladesh. “The PSC will arrange for clocks at the exam halls to check time for the test takers,” PSC official Alamgir Hossain told bdnews24.com. During the 35th BCS preliminary tests, the PSC prohibited the use of any electronic device, including calculators and mobile phones in halls, according to bdnews24.com. -Mithun
