Sacked camp commander of RAB-11 Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday as he fell sick. He is one of the accused in the Narayanganj sensational seven-murder cases.

The former RAB official was taken to the hospital from Dhaka Central Jail around 1:30pm after he complained of spinal cord pain, said inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of DMCH police camp.  Tareque has been kept at the DMCH Neurosurgery unit-2 under the supervision of associate professor Dr Asid Chandra Sarker, he said.

Three officials of Rapid Action Battalion-11, including Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad, were sent on forced retirement for their alleged involvement in the killings of seven people in Narayanganj, according to UNB. -Mithun
