40 killed in Libya bomb attack


At least 40 people were killed killed and many injured in a bomb attack on a police training centre in Libya on Thursday. Police and hospital sources feared that death toll could rise in what they said an apparent a bomb attack at the police training centre in Zliten town. Zliten town's mayor Miftah Lahmadi said a truck exploded at the centre as hundreds of recruits were gathering there. However, none claimed responsibilities for the bombing, according to a news agency.
