Female recruitment survey on graphic designers begins
GAIBANDHA, Jan 9 : A two-day survey on recruitment of female as graphic designers has begun on Gaibandha Govt College ground here on Saturday.
Outsourcing Experts Limited (OEL), which provides photo editing service across the world through about 300 graphic designers, has arranged the survey at the college for the female students.
The objective of the survey is to encourage the females and help them involve in jobs as graphic designers at OEL in a bid to make them empowered socially and self-reliant economically, said Atiqur Rahman Sumon, chief executive officer OEL.
To lead the backward and neglected Gaibandha district towards desired development through providing jobs to the females for ensuring their better future is another objective of the survey, he said.
On the first day, over 200 female students filled up the survey forms with an expectation to be graphic designers at OEL by completing three-month long course on graphic design conducted by SARAH Institute of E-Generation, a sister concern of OEL, said senior manager Ataur Rahman Suzon.
Lipi Begum, a female student of honours third year of the college, said she wanted to be a skilled woman taking training on graphic design, and serve at OEL as graphic designer which is a challenging and prestigious profession for a woman, according to a news agency.
