BRAC University (BRACU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Syed Saad Andaleeb recently suggested tips and tricks to four BRACU students travelling to Shanghai on March 1 to present their social business idea in Hult Prize-2017 Regional Finals, according to a press release.
Team 'Resurgence', as the "Hult Prize @ BRACU winner", will compete in the regional final in Shanghai from March 3 to March 4, 2017 where 48 university teams from all over the world will compete to become the one team for Global Finale in Clinton Global Initiative in New York later in 2017. "Refugees - Reawakening Human Potential" is the title of this year's challenge.
Team "Resurgence" consists of BBA students Rafayet Khan, Ivana Murtaza Asfara and Naziba Naila Wafa and Mashiyat Rahman of economics. The students' adviser, Mahreen Mamoon, will be accompanying team.
Earlier on December 1, 2016, the "Resurgence" was awarded Hult Prize 2017 @ BRACU and a seed capital of Tk 0.1 million sponsored by City Bank Limited to be the team from BRACU.
